SINADYA SA HALARAN - ROXAS CITY
-Ipinagdiriwang ang Sinadya sa Halaran Festival tuwing ika-4 hanggang ika-8 ng Disyembre bilang pag-alaala sa kapistahan ng Immaculada Concepcion, na siya ring patron ng lungsod ng Roxas. Ginagawa ang pagdiriwang sa pamamagitan ng malalaki at makukulay na parada sa kalsada at sa pangunahing ilog ng lalawigan. Mayroon ding parada upang ipakita ang mga produkto mula sa dagat, na siyang pangunahing pinagkukunan ng kabuhayaN ng mga naninirahan sa Roxas at Capiz.
LINGGA-ANAY FESTIVAL - PANAY, CAPIZ
-Lingga-anay Festival is the annual Municipal Fiesta of Panay celebrated to pay homage to the Biggest Bell in Asia and to display the town’s rich cultural history together with its vast marine resources. The Festival boasts a one-of-a-kind street dance accompanied not by drum beats but of rondalla, which are the distinct feature of ecotis. Panay Mayor Dante Bermejo said the Festival is a milestone in the history of Panay because it highlights the cooperation of the public officials and the residents of the town.
TALAHONG FESTIVAL - SAPIAN, CAPIZ
-Talahong has been derived from two words “talaba” and “tahong”.
Mayor Orosco and his wife Evangeline organized to festival to promote the two seafood resources abundant in their town.
It was learned that more than 100 sacks of “talaba” and “tahong” are being disposed for sale to other parts of Western Visayas every day.
